Surgical Wounds

In the United States, the latest data from the National Center for Health Statistics indicates that 40 million inpatient surgical procedures and 31.5 million outpatient surgeries are performed annually in the United States. Zhittya Genesis Medicine believes its drug can enhance the healing of these surgical wounds and data from animal experiments indicate that less scar tissue forms in wounds that have been treated with FGF-1. Zhittya Genesis Medicine plans to file an IND to explore the benefit of its drug to enhance healing of surgical wounds.
