Multiple System Atrophy

Multiple System Atrophy is often referred to as "Parkinson's Disease plus" and is a more aggressive disorder affecting not only motor functions, but also the so-called involuntary or autonomic nervous system that includes such functions as breathing and heart rate. Zhittya Genesis Medicine also believes that vascular disorder is an initiating event for Multiple System Atrophy and plans to files an IND with the FDA to initiate studies in this patient population.
