PTSD
PTSD is an enormous problem in the military, especially with veterans who have been exposed to concussive head injuries in combat, which increase the severity of this disorder. According to recent reports, PTSD affects about 7.7 million American adults in a given year, though the disorder can develop at any age, including childhood. Symptoms include strong and unwanted memories of the event, bad dreams, emotional numbness, intense guilt or worry, angry outbursts, feeling "on edge", and avoiding thoughts and situation that are reminders of the trauma. As with the other brain disorders, Zhittya Genesis Medicine believes that concussive head injuries lead to damage of the brain's microvasculature leading to the symptoms of PTSD and that out drug could address the root cause of the disorder.
